Curriculum vitae

Amanda is a natural scientist who pursues interdisciplinary research with a focus on coupled human-natural systems as related to conservation in agricultural or forested settings. Her recent projects include the use of remote sensing data (satellite and drone-based) to monitor regional-scale tillage practices, site-to-watershed-scale riparian condition, and site-to-regional-scale forest disturbances. Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State University, she received a B.S. in Geology-Biology from Brown University and M.S. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from the University of New Mexico.
