My name is Maddy Chabot, and I will be graduating 2021 with a degree in Environmental and Ecosystem Sciences. After graduation, I plan to attend law school to study environmental law with a focus on conservation, which will ideally allow me to work for the EPA and help make laws to protect the environment.

My hometown is Long Beach, Washington, an area with a lot of untouched forests and wetlands which are threatened by human expansion and rising ocean levels, and living there has done a lot to show me how important environmental action is.

My outdoor hobbies include photography, marching band, hiking, biking, surfing, swimming, and skiing (even though I’m dismally bad at it). When I’m not working, I spend most of my time at home at the beach, in the state parks, or just walking around the farm with my dogs; Molly and Bentley.
