Virtual Ecology

Virtual Ecology is a collaborative project between professors, undergraduate, and graduate students. The goal of the project is to bring the natural environment of Kamiak Butte to students virtually through the exhibition of audio and video recordings; Virtual Reality (VR) experiences; and ecological knowledge.

Land Acknowledgment

Kamiak Butte is located on the homelands of the Nimíipuu (Nez Perce) Tribe and the Palus Band people. We acknowledge their presence here since time immemorial and recognize their continuing connection to the land, to the water, and to their ancestors.
