I am a student in the Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science unit with a passion for animals! I am 23 years old with a Jack Parson terrier named Charlie who enjoys following me on our hikes, swims in the ocean, and adventures. I dream to one day work on/for a conservation to rehab and protect endangered species. My biggest goal is to give a voice to the animals who don’t have one.

I was born in Colorado, and due to my dad’s job, we moved around a lot and finally settled in a small town in Washington when I was 10. I got involved in the horse community starting with showing in western and english equitation and moved into rodeo and gaming by my sophomore year in high school. I graduated in 2018, did 2 years to get my AA at Columbia Basin college, and took a year off for an internship.

My internship at Cat Tales Wildlife Center (or Zoological Park) in the fall and winter of 2020 and 2021. To put it nicely, I learned all the things that should never be involved in “helping” animals. I ended my internship there after 6 months, and decided that I still wanted to pursue my degree – I don’t want to allow places like this to continue to exist.
