Hi all!

My name is Ryotaro Colon, and I am majoring in Environmental & Ecosystem Science at WSU. In addition to my major, I am almost done with a biology minor. Further, I hope to attain a statistics minor. Time will tell if I like stats or not, but better to regret trying something than to regret not doing something!

Besides taking classes in my major/minors, I am involved in the CAHNRS college, undergraduate research, and soon, study abroad trips. First, as a CAHNRS ambassador and the new CAHNRS Senate Rep. I will be volunteering at events and working more with CAHNRS clubs. Second, I am doing undergraduate research on marine environmental physiology. I started a project Summer 2022 and have since been chipping away. Lastly, this Spring I am excited to travel to Uruguay and NYC for class events.

Classes and extracurriculars aside, I am glad to be here and hope to learn more about the each of you as you reach out for assistance. If you need ‘start of the semester’ advice, please view my Achievement Team letter in the Canvas modules. Otherwise, just come talk to me!  Remaining things about me are that I was born in Everett, WA and graduated from Everett High School. Go Seagulls and GO COUGS!
