This page is in progress and non-operational. For now, it serves as a framework of how we are envisioning the decision support platform operating. When the platform is complete, with operational apps for users to download data, explore data, and to receive recommendations for which decision support tools (DSTs) are well-suited for a particular management task, the below tiles will link to apps accordingly.
Decision Support Toolbox
With so many decision support tools (DSTs) available, it can be challenging to decide which tool to use for post-fire land management projects. Here, we try to remedy this challenge by providing a toolbox of DSTs, sorted by decision phase and evaluated by accessibility. Additionally, we briefly describe each tool to ease the process of selecting which tools are most useful for your work.
Explore Data
In addition to investigating DSTs, we developed models to predict post-fire vegetation dynamics (e.g., conifer recovery and vegetation transitions) and we compiled place-based tools to provide you with an interactive map-based application through TBD (likely, either ArcGIS Online or Google Earth Engine).

For individuals that are especially interested in our data — including the data we used to evaluate the suitability and accessibility of DSTs and the data informing our predictive models — we have it accessible here. In addition, we offer the code for the above place-based application and the code necessary to analyze our data and run predictive models.
